Description

***PLEASE NOTE: This video was created in August 2009 and may be out of date. I have not kept up with game versions past 1.4, World Adventures, etc. and do not know if new versions have changed the way custom content is dealt with. I cannot help troubleshoot if this method does not work for you.*** Most sites that provide Sims 3 custom content downloads provide install instructions tailored to Windows users. The main installation steps for Mac users is generally the same, but first you have to get to your actual root folder. This video shows how to do that. Note - If you are trying to download something that is archived as a .rar (or anything besides a .zip as shown in the video) you *WILL* need a separate utility like Stuffit or the Unarchiver. You can get these at apple.com/downloads
