Samuel "Sam" Burl Kinison (December 8, 1953 -- April 10, 1992) was an American stand-up comedian and actor. Kinison was famous for his extremely vitriolic humor and dark, sombre outfits. A former revival-style preacher, his stand up routines were most often characterized by intense, angry ranting and punctuated by his trademark scream.
