So this video mainly deals with spacing and zoning. Basically it goes over ground and air control with explanations of various pokes and aerial attacks as well. I tried really hard to explain the reason why ground/air control is so important. But for those that don't get it through the video... Zoning and spacing allows you to effectively keep your opponent out while remaining safe with putting very little risk in your attacks. By familiarizing yourself with the correlation between ranges and zoning, you begin to realize WHAT attack to use and WHERE to use it. In becoming aware of this, you essentially build a strong ground game. Ground game also creates frustration in your opponent, which causes them to recklessly attack, in which you can capitalize on. All in all, think of it like this, you throw hadoukens...about 5 of them, and your opponent jumped over every one of them towards you....it's safe to assume that THIS player, wants to be close to you, and is willing to recklessly jump in. Conversely, say that you get a person who neutral jumps over your hadouken's....well now you can say that the 2 play styles are very different....one very aggressive, the other very passive....attacking for a reason lets you understand exactly HOW a player will play you, and in knowing...
