"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" is breaking records before it even hits theaters, and we have to admit that we're not really all that surprised. According to what Warner Bros. told Deadline, "Deathly Hallows" is going to be screened at 3,700 locations for its midnight release alone. But that's nothing compared to Friday, where the film is going to be shown at 4,125 theaters and on over 9,000 screens... not counting IMAX. Okay, so that's a bit intense.
If you've waited until this week to buy your midnight release ticket, you've probably discovered to your dismay that pretty much all the showings have been sold out. And, if you were hoping to see the film in IMAX this weekend, you're definitely screwed, because almost all the record-breaking 239 IMAX screens are already sold out for the weekend. To compare, "Half-Blood Prince" only played on 166 IMAX screens.
So, with a day until »
